60 PERCENT OF DELHI WOULD HAVE VANISHED IF EARTHQUAKE LIKE NEPAL OCCURS: K SIDDHARTHA

In an interview with IndiaSamvad, Earth scientist K Siddhartha told that Delhi-NCR region is highly vulnerable and comes under the danger zone prone area for earthquake. National Capital falls under the zone four of the seismic zone divisions in India and hence faces the risk of suffering earthquakes of very high intensity. Delhi is situated very close to the active seismic fault lines like the Sohna fault-line and the Delhi-Haridwar fault line.
